Centres for dragees

CAPOLŪ and FIX GUMŪ are precoating agents that are used to produce the first-coat foundation for different dragee centres. They are ready for immediate use and easy to apply. CAPOLŪ and FIX GUMŪ products conform with national and international food regulations and, if requested, can be supplied with a Kosher and/or Halal certificate.

CAPOLŪ 236 N - precoating agent for chocolate and chewing-gum balls if these are to be panned with a sugar coat.

The FIX GUMŪ system consists of FIX GUMŪ A (liquid) and FIX GUMŪ B (powder) and is used to produce the first-coat foundation for nuts, raisins, dried fruit, liquorice ropes, gums and jelly products, thereby optimally preparing centres for coating with sugar or chocolate.

Precoating with FIX GUMŪ will ensure that even sticky centres are free-flowing so that they can be easily coated with sugar or chocolate. Moreover FIX GUMŪ forms an excellent fat barrier when it is applied on nut or chocolate centres.

To produce sugar-free confectionery the sugar in FIX GUMŪ can be replaced by the following polyols:

  • Lactose

  • Maltitol

  • Mannitol

  • Sorbite

  • Xylitol

  • or other Polyols requested by our clients.

Sugar free FIX GUMŪ is also used for diabetic confectionery.

FIX GUMŪ is applied with a dosing device in coating and polishing pans of conventional design or in coating machines.

FIX GUMŪ can be applied manually or with a dosing device.
