Our CAPOL® Pharma product series is used to glaze and seal pharmaceutical tablets and dragees, and is applied after film-coating, for the purpose of improving the appearance, mechanical durability and sliding properties of the products and simultaneously provide protection against humidity.
Moreover, CAPOL® Pharma glazing agents ensure products remain free-flowing and have the utmost stability. They are easy to apply, economical inuse, totally neutral in taste and are continuously subject to the stringent testsof our quality assurance system. The raw materials incorporated in the CAPOL® Pharma series comply with the requirements of the respective pharmacopoeias and, if required, can be supplied with a Kosher and/or Halal certificate.
CAPOL® 600 Pharma - Alcoholic wax dispersion to glaze pharmaceutical dragees and tablets.
CAPOL® 1295 Pharma - Powdered glazing agent for pharmaceutical dragees and tablets.
CAPOL® 425 Pharma - Sealant for all products treated with CAPOL® glazing agents to improve gloss stability at elevated temperatures, high humidity rates and for film coating.
CAPOL® is applied in coating and
polishing pans of conventional design or by coating
machines.
The product is added manually, or by a dosing pump or a
spraying system.
