PURASAL®
Sodium Lactate is used extensively by the processed meat and poultry industry to give products an extended shelf life and enhanced flavour, and to provide better control of food-borne pathogenic bacteria.
Purasal also has applications in the pharmaceutical industry. It is used as an electrolyte in many parenteral / IV solutions intended for fluid or electrolyte replenishment, and is extensively used in CAPD and dialysis solutions.
